Capitol Readymix is a privately owned family business established in 1983. The company is still owned and operated by one of the original principal owners.

             The transition from a co-ownership to a single owner was featured in the Illinois State Journal Register in April of 2010. 

​

            Capitol operates three batch plants on two separate sites in Springfield, serving an approximate thirty mile radius around the city.

 

            All plants are IDOT Certified and  all materials meet ASTM and State of Illinois specifications.
